Following the #TouchingLives Contest Rules, two separate awards are given to the contestants:

  1. #TouchingLives Jury Award - provided by a group of international experts appointed by the Pan American Health Organization
  2. #TouchingLives Popular Award - measured as the average number of stars -within the range from 1 to 5 stars- given by the visitors to the #TouchingLives website. Please, note the difference between de average voting score and the number of votes which refers to the number of individuals who participated with their votes. The average voting score was measured at noon on October 14, 2013.

Each student awarded in the #TouchingLives contest will be contacted by PAHO to receive a certificate signed by the Director of the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO). In additon, the school where the student is registered will received a wall plate signed by PAHO's Director. Congratulations!!
