KBR’s primary mandate in eHealth is the development of national strategies. Some projects are:

National eHealth Strategies    
Description: The PAHO eHealth program is represented in category 4 of the PAHO Strategic Plan 2014-2019: Health Systems, in the “Health Systems Information and Evidence” program in section 4 under the output 4.4.2 which addresses the “Implementation of the regional Strategy and Plan of Action on eHealth” using the “Number of countries and territories implementing an eHealth strategy” as an indicator.
Status: Ongoing. The countries currently working on the development of a national eHealth strategy with the support of PAHO are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Trinidad and Tobago.

National eHealth Strategy Toolkit    
Description: The Toolkit provides a framework and method for the development of a national eHealth vision, action plan and monitoring framework. It is a resource that can be applied by all governments that are developing or revitalizing a national eHealth strategy, whatever their current level of eHealth advancement.
Status: Completed.
