This is a collection of articles (available in English and Spanish) that analyze climate change in the region and its consequences for human behavior, especially relating to health.

The publication includes papers presented at the Workshop on Climate Variability and Health, held in December 2008 in El Paso, Texas. The workshop was organized jointly by PAHO/WHO, the Colegio de la Frontera Norte, the Border Environment Cooperation Commission, and academic, scientific, and government institutions from both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border.
