The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) through the Department of Evidence and Intelligence for Action in Health, and the initiative All Women All Children in Latin America and the Caribbean (EWEC-LAC), invite you to the third Seminar of the Virtual Seminar Series on COVID-19, SDG Health Targets and Equity.

The sudden and intense pandemic spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Region of the Americas has dramatically exposed and amplified the presence of inequalities and inequities, an already prominent feature in the social, economic, regional environmental and health. The evidence that is accumulating in the region points to recognizing a profound and differential socioeconomic impact in the short and long terms, with potentially serious consequences for the health of the populations and, above all, for the equitable distribution of opportunities for health and the well-being of all at all ages - precisely Goal Number Three of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, based on the promise of leaving no one behind. In this virtual seminar, the third in the Series on Covid-19, the Health Goals of the SDGs and Equity, the evidence needed for actions and available tools will be discussed.
